I used to also avoid accepting help from anyone, much less from men, or being honest about my "irrational" feelings. Doing so can be hard at first, but once I started it actually made me feel more secure in my femininity and opened opportunity for better interactions with others (especially with men).

Very well phrased, exactly! There's a certain strength gained by vulnerability and feeling secure in femininity is such a freeing sensation. Absolutely agree that it opens opportunity for better interactions with others. It's the fundamental knowledge of self that makes room/space for knowing others.
